Oooohhh! Was this a fun cake to make?! Um, yes! First off, I love all things baby. Second, I have been wanting to do a diaper bag cake for quite some time. And lastly, all the little detail work is my absolute favorite to do! I nerded out big time on the pacifier and the rubber ducky was super fun too! I hope Thea just loves it. Congratulations on the baby boy!

This cake came on the heels of a crazy, busy weekend. But I am glad we were able to pull it off. We put the fondant on in pieces, so it make seems. Then we used a quilting tool and made the chain and the famous double c's. I think it came out pretty good.

Now this was Whitney's real birthday cake. Man was she surprised! Mauja is her alaskan malamute and she loves him more than anything in the whole wide world. So, it was naturally, the concept I wanted to go for. He came out just perfect. She was ecstatic. Success!

I made this cake as a decoy for my sister's 25th birthday dinner. I knew she knew she would be getting a cake from me and I had to throw her off so her big cake would be a total surprise. Two things I know about my little sis, she loves her dog (Mauja) and she loves shots of Patron. (who doesn't?!) So the decoy cake had to be a bottle of Patron. It totally worked, she thought that was it....Mauja cake pictures coming soon. Happy Birthday Whit!

We made this cake and cupcake combo for our very very dear friend Mandy Haak! It was her 30th Birthday, so of course we had to do something special for her! Three words that describe her likes are leopard, bats and green. I think we nailed it!
She just loved them and they were a big hit at the party!

This fatty burrito was for our most loyal client, Mariel, yet again! Super fun making a cake that looks like another food. The whole time, we were craving burritos! It was cool making the toppings and the sleeping Mexican dude. We think this cake turned out muy bien!

These adorable pink and white cupcakes were for our dear, dear friend, Natalia. She just happens to be vegan, so it was a chance for me to diversify! We brought them to her birthday party at The House of Blues and she promptly gobbled one up! And I think she liked it. Happy Birthday Natalia!
