The Louboutin Cake

Well.....what can I say about this cake? This was, by far, the greatest challenge of our cake making career. I am not entirely happy with the outcome...the shoe was the hardest thing we have ever had to make! We did our best and logged A LOT of man hours on this one. But in the end, I think it came out alright. I do love the little Louboutin bag with the gold shoes clap...that was super fun to make!

The Other Badge Cake

We got another order from a retiring police man for a badge cake. This one was on a much smaller scale though, so I felt it was easier to accomplish some of the detail work. We think we have improved!

The A Cake

Matt likes to call this the "trix cake" because of all the bright colors. We made this for my niece, Alicia who was turning 15.
We decided to go simple on this cake because next year will be a pretty big birthday and she will want to get something crazy!
But this was cute for our family party and she loved it!

The Diaper Bag Cake

Oooohhh! Was this a fun cake to make?! Um, yes! First off, I love all things baby. Second, I have been wanting to do a diaper bag cake for quite some time. And lastly, all the little detail work is my absolute favorite to do! I nerded out big time on the pacifier and the rubber ducky was super fun too! I hope Thea just loves it. Congratulations on the baby boy!

The Chanel Purse Cake

This cake came on the heels of a crazy, busy weekend. But I am glad we were able to pull it off. We put the fondant on in pieces, so it make seems. Then we used a quilting tool and made the chain and the famous double c's. I think it came out pretty good.

The Mauja Cake

Now this was Whitney's real birthday cake. Man was she surprised! Mauja is her alaskan malamute and she loves him more than anything in the whole wide world. So, it was naturally, the concept I wanted to go for. He came out just perfect. She was ecstatic. Success!

The Patron Cake

I made this cake as a decoy for my sister's 25th birthday dinner. I knew she knew she would be getting a cake from me and I had to throw her off so her big cake would be a total surprise. Two things I know about my little sis, she loves her dog (Mauja) and she loves shots of Patron. (who doesn't?!) So the decoy cake had to be a bottle of Patron. It totally worked, she thought that was it....Mauja cake pictures coming soon. Happy Birthday Whit!
